Human testicular cancer organoids are derived from tissues surgically removed from patients with testicular germ cell tumors (GCTs).Testicular GCTs is the most common malignant tumor in men aged 15-35. It is divided into two categories: type I (infant type) and type II (adolescent/adult type).Type II GCTs include seminal cell tumors (seminoma) and non-seminal cell tumors (NSGCT).Spermatoblastoma is similar to primitive germ cells (PGCs), expressing pluripotent markers OCT3/4, NANOG and PGC markers SOX17, PRDM1, TFAP2C, and cKIT.Embryonic carcinoma (embryonic carcinoma) is more pluripotent and can be divided into three germ layers (teratoma) and extra-embryonic tissues (yolk sac tumor, choriocarcinoma).Testicular cancer organoids provide an important model for the study of GCT biology, drug screening, and reproductive toxicity.
